Every biker, irrespective of their gender,dreams of going on a Leh Ladakh bike trip once in their lifetime. While they dream of a flawless journey, the reality does come into contact with a lot of shortcomings. Having understood that bikers are bound to stumble upon a few barriers on a rugged landscape like that of Leh and Ladakh, we’ve put in our best efforts to collate every information in this itinerary that will help them encounter any such difficulties on the way. Leh, in ancient times, was the capital of the Kingdom of Ladakh. Situated at an altitude of almost 12,000ft offers exceptionally close views of this barren heaven. Leh is blessed with tons
of exceptionally gorgeous valleys and high altitude mountain peaks. You are also bound to be inspired by the local cuisuines, arts and culture and the overall history of the people and the way they go about their lives.
Itinerary
Day 0 Delhi To Manali | Overnight Journey
- It's time to get Leh'd! The group will assemble at the pick-up point by 7 PM (tentative) in the evening
- We will meet the trip captains and a small tour briefing session will be conducted
- We will begin our overnight journey to Manali
Day 1 Manali Arrival And Leisure
- Morning arrival at Manali (HP)
- Check-in at Hotel After Breakfast you can explore Manali by your own
- You can explore Mall Road, Hadimba Temple or you can go for short Solang Tour
- Full day will be at leisure
- Dinner & Overnight stay at Hotel
Day 2 Manali To Sarchu Via Atal Tunnel & Baralacha La
- After a filling breakfast we start our ride towards Sarchu
- Drive through Atal Tunnel to Lahaul Valley, along the Chandra river to Keylong, the district headquarters of Lahaul & Spiti
- Drive through Darcha, Patsio, Zingzing Bar & over Baralacha-La (15,910 ft.) pass which is one of the most challenging passes among other passes on the way to Leh and one can see excellent panoramic views of the high rising/sky touching mountains. We will reach Sarchu in the evening
- Dinner and overnight stay at Camps
Note: All travellers are strictly advised to acclimatize to the weather and indulge in the least physical activities in Sarchu
Day 3 Sarchu To Leh Via Taglang La
- After Breakfast, we will ride to Leh
- Drive through Gata Loops (21 hairpin bends) at 4669 m. En route cross Nakee La (4739 m) and then Lachung-La (5065m) just above Brandy bridge
- We will take stop for lunch at Pang, drive through the Moore Plains, which is a completely flattened straight road extending over 30 km
- We will reach leh by late evening. Dinner and Overnight stay at hotel
Day 4 Leh To Nubra Valley Via Khardung La Pass
- After breakfast, we will be heading towards Nubra Valley. Ride through one of the highest civilian motorable pass of the world, Khardung La Pass; spend some time at the Khardung La Top
- Ride to the Diskit Monastery for a brilliant view of Nubra Valley
- Stop at Hundar Sand dunes and Enjoy a double-humped Camel ride in the cold desert
- Enjoy your dinner and stay overnight at camps/cottages
Day 5 Nubra To Pangong Tso Via Shyok
- Enjoy a delicious breakfast and leave Leh to visit the majestic Pangong Tso
- We will arrive at Pangong Tso in the late afternoon, the lake which is famous for having the most beautiful setting and changes its colors 4 to 5 times a day
- Enjoy your evening with the beautiful view of the Lake amidst towering snow-capped mountains
- Dinner and overnight stay at camps at Pangong
Day 6 Pangong Tso To Hanle
- After Breakfast head for tiny village Hanle
- Hanle is an off beat destination of Ladakh region. This village situated in the south-eastern end of Jammu and Kashmir and comes under the Changthang region. It is a 8 to 9-hr long drive from Pangong and close to the Indo-China Border. You will pass through the Lukung and Chushul Valley (close to the Indo China border)
- Reach Hanle in the evening, you will visit the famous Chandra Telescope (Hanle Observatory) of Indian Institute of Astrophysics - world's second highest optical telescope
- Check-in at the home stay/ Hotel and enjoy delicious Ladakhi dinner
- Overnight stay in Hanle
Day 7 Hanle - Umling La - Hanle
- After a night spent stargazing, we will re-fuel our energy and set out to conquer the mighty Umling La - World’s Highest Motorable Pass perched at an elevation of 19, 024ft
- Today is the day we forget all our fears and gear up for a ride of a lifetime. As you climb higher the barrenness and twisting turns will literally have adrenaline pumping through your veins
- While you are at the top, you will find yourself surrendering to the out of the world views laid in front of you, truly a moment that will capture your heart
- After the thrilling and memorable ride, we will head back to Hanle and spend the night capturing the night sky. The clear views of the milky way, shooting stars and more is a sight that is sure to leave an indelible mark on your soul.

Day 8 Hanle To Tso-moriri
- Good morning with a view! After a nutritious breakfast, we'll head towards Tso- Moriri, a sacred site for Ladakhi people and one of the highest lakes in India with an altitude of 14,836 ft
- En-route, you may even get a glimpse of rare birds like the black-necked crane and bar-headed geese
- After spending a blissful afternoon by the lake, exploring its beauty and simply absorbing the peace, we’ll head to our cottages near the lake
- At night, you can catch glimpses of the night sky and indulge in group bonding sessions
- Dinner and an overnight stay at Tso-Moriri
Day 9 Tso-moriri To Leh
- After Breakfast, check out from Camps for the return journey to Leh
- Enroute take a short halt at Changla Pass and visit Hemis Monastery & 3-Idiots School
- Return to Leh in the evening. Dinner and Overnight stay at Leh
Day 10 Leh To Kargil
- Post breakfast, we will begin our journey from Leh to Kargil
- En route, We will visit the Sangam site in the Leh region where the Zanskar river meets the Indus River to form a beautiful confluence
- We will also visit Magnetic hill which is an anti-gravity hill and Gurudwara Pathar Sahib and will be traversing Lamayuru-Hills which is one of the oldest and largest Gompas in Ladakh as well as Fotula pass (13,479 ft.),
- Lastly, we will be traversing through Namika La (12,198 ft.) which is one of the highest passes between Kargil and Leh
- Upon reaching Kargil, we will check in to our designated hotel
- Dinner followed by an overnight stay in Kargil
Day 11 Kargil To Srinagar
- After early morning breakfast, we will head towards Srinagar via Sonmarg
- We will be traversing the cold trails of Dras, which is known as the Gateway to Ladakh and one of the coldest inhabited places on Earth
- En-route, we will visit the Kargil War Memorial which commemorates the 1999 Kargil War between India and Pakistan followed by a brief stop at the iconic Zojila Pass (11,649 Ft.)
- Reach Srinagar by evening, check in to the houseboat/ Hotel, Dinner & sleep overnight
Day 12 Departure From Srinagar | Tour Ends
- Wake up & post breakfast check out and fly back home with amazing trip memories
- Say your teary goodbyes to your new friends, making plans for a reunion tour to ease the pain - not forgetting there are so many places left to explore

Important Notes
- Travelers residing outside Delhi are suggested to book trains/flights reaching Delhi not later than 5 pm on the trip start day. Similarly on trip end date book returning flights/trains leaving post 2 pm.
- Numerous factors such as weather, road conditions, physical abilities of participant etc may cause itinerary change. We reserve the rights to change any schedule in the interest of safety, comfort & general well-being. The age limit of our group departures is 16 – 42 years due to the power packed itineraries that we provide to our travelers. We can customize trips for trvavelers beyond the mentioned age bracket.
