Spiti Valley is a cold desert mountain valley located high in the Himalayas in the northeastern part of the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. The name “Spiti” means “The middle land”, i.e. the land between Tibet and India. It is bound to leave you in awe of the mountains. This cold desert has tons of features to show for itself; from high mountain passes, to unbelievable monasteries, astonishing culture, architecture and much more. It is a rugged high altitude land where the air is much drier than other high altitude places, temperatures drop below zero at night but still remains the land to enchant you and makes for a hell of a trip for all.
Itinerary
Day 0 Delhi - Shimla
- We start our journey to this magnificent place called “Spiti” from Delhi.
- Departure at around 9 pm.
Day 1 Shimla - Chitkul/Kalpa
- Early morning arrival in shimla.
- After freshening up & having a good breakfast a long 8-9 hours through the majestic mountains awaits us.
- Experience entering the kinnaur valley from the Kinnaur gateway
- Reach Chitkul by evening,
- Check in to your hotel have dinner & rest.
Day 2 Chitkul - Nako via Khab Sangam
- Early call by the trip captain & enjoy the mesmerizing view of the mountains have your delicious breakfast & enjoy the riverside
- Depart to tabo on your way we'll take hault at khab sangam - the confluence of spiti river and the sultej river
- Reach nako & visit the nako lake,
- Have your lunch here visit the gue mummy temple & gue monastery where resides the 600 years old mummy
- Reach tabo & enjoy your stay in a homestay & experience the local food
Day 3 Tabo - Kaza Via Dhankar
- Early meditation at Tabo Caves, then breakfast
- Visit Tabo Monastery and depart for Kaza
- Stop at Dhankar Monastery en route
- Arrive in Kaza, check-in at the homestay, enjoy local food, and star gaze
- Enjoy the local food & afterwards watch the stars
Day 4 Langza - Hikkim Komic - Key -chicham Kibber
- Visit Langza (Buddha statue at 4400 meters)
- Visit Komic (highest motorable village) and Hikkim (highest post office)
- Stay in a cozy homestay and enjoy local food and star gazing
- Visit Asia's highest suspension bridge
- Visit Kibber village and Key Monastery
- Last night in Kaza, enjoy the stay
Day 5 Kaza To Chandratal
- Breakfast and check-out from the homestay
- Depart for Chandratal, arrive by afternoon
- Enjoy time at lakeside, check-in to camps, have dinner, and rest
Day 6 Chandratal - Manali
- Early breakfast and leave for Manali
- Reach Manali by evening overnight stay in a comfy hotel in manali
Day 7 Manali Exploration & Departure
- Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Check out and visit Hadimba Temple, Mall Road, and Tibetan Monastery
- Explore local cafes in the evening
- Board the bus to Delhi for an overnight journey, leaving the mountains with cherished memories.
Day 8 Return to Delhi
- Arrive in Delhi after a memorable week

Exclusion
- GST (5%) is applicable extra.
- Any kind of food or beverage that is not included in the package like alcoholic drinks, mineral water, meals/refreshments/lunch on the highway
- Any personal expenses like a tip to the driver, entry to monuments/monasteries, camera/video charges, laundry, telephone expenses, tips, etc.
- Any cost arising due to natural calamities like land slides, road blocks etc (to be borne diercty by the customer on the spot)
- Anything not mentioned in the inclusions
Important Notes
- Travelers residing outside Delhi are suggested to book trains/flights reaching Delhi not later than 5 pm on the trip start day.
- Similarly on trip end date book returning flights/trains leaving post 2 pm.
- Numerous factors such as weather, road conditions, physical abilities of participant etc may cause itinerary change.
- We reserve the rights to change any schedule in the interest of safety, comfort & general wellbeing.
- The age limit of our group departures is 16 – 42 years due to the power packed itineraries that we provide to our travelers.
- We can customize trips for travelers beyond the mentioned age bracket.
